Stunning newly renovated hotel that still has a classical charm... weather u looking to enjoy a relaxed lunch at the pool side or a fine dining experience at the revolving hotel The Ritz has you covered. I must visit for anyone planning a trip to cape town. Friendly and efficient service.

Good value for money on the rooms and convenient location. However the food by the pool was very limited and over priced for what you got.

Lovely new renovation however quite rude when we wanted to have a drink by the pool. We would only be permitted to sit in the shade at 4pm for 1 drink or we had to pay for a lounger - not sure if one can tan at this time?! We left and went to the Vue because of the attitude and obviously wanting to spend money on drinks and food not on "sitting" on a cushion

Fantastic venue, great food and drink. Nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool and bar area. We went for Sunday Brunch, great value, excellent food. A must visit place.

Enjoyed sitting near the pool relaxing on a hot Cape Town summer's day with an ice cold drink. Would love to go back and enjoy a meal there, looks lovely and a good spot to soak up the sun.

Still a lot if details to be taken care of but the place has immense potential and is definitely worth catching up on in the future - they have already made great progress with the renovations. ..

Have a 7-course dinner for around £50 in the 23rd floor revolving restaurant. It takes an hour to complete the circle and dishes served according to the wonderfully panoramic view ie fish course with sea vista and meat while viewing Table Mountain. Very friendly, welcoming staff eager to promote this recently upgraded luxury hotel.

We went for brunch at CASA Restaurant, and there were some pros and some cons. The pros:
Good food, great atmosphere, excellent decor.
The cons:
Lack of brunch-like hot food, little service, the place felt too empty.

Obviously there are to be some teething issues, but they will have to sort out some larger issues before they can call themselves a “uniquely luxurious experience”. But for a casual brunch, it was still nice. So I would recommend, but with the above caveats.

We had a wonderful fine dining experience with beautiful view at Top of The Ritz rotating restaurant. Highly recommended especially for the sunset Apperitivo 😊

The renovations are really starting to take shape and it's looking like a new hotel inside. I can't wait for it to open and the revolving restaurant to be operational. Some of the best food and views in Cape Town.

hi good day...it was a privilege being at your hotel. now i am talking about many years ago and your service is still good. i would like to come again sometime. the staff members was very friendly and helpful. the accomodation was very very comfortable and the food was delicious thanx to the chef! when it comes to excellent customer service...you are on top of my list! thanx alot...you guys rock! Good location, near the beach. Great food and rooms for its price.

Not a real Ritz Hotel. It's like a 3 stars hotel in Europe with normal breakfast and ok rooms.

Beds are not the most comfortable.

The good things are the swimming pool and that its close to the sea walk, but not to the waterfront.

Very fancy hotel to be at.. Would go back anytime, there breakfast menu has a large variety of foods for breafast. Sat outside by the pool and had breakfast. What an amazing place..

Came to the resturant here and it was amazing. The best part of it all is that the floor rotates! Beautiful place to bring that someone special for a date night or nice dinner.

Very nice hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. They are busy with renovations but should be great when they are done.

we enjoyed our stay. the hotel is good value for money with super good views and they are busy revamping the old lady to its former glory!

I had a wonderful stay, although my room was not ready when we checked in. The helpful staff and friendly manager was very apologetic and helped us to our lovely room. Front desk staff and doormen helpful. They ordered us taxis and they were there within 5 minutes. We were also spoiled with a free breakfast every morning. Fabulous breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.
