Overall decent stay for the money. Rate was fair for the week day. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Good selection of pillows. Lobby smelled strong of weed. Minor things in room that were “unfinished” or damaged. See pictures.

This place was a top-notch stay. The front desk was welcoming, the room was spotless and well-designed, and the building itself is stunning. A great experience!

The room and the hotel were great. Was a little upset the bar and breakfast were not available. Since they were not able to offer the full amenities they should adjust the prices accordingly. Besides that it was good.

It was great because I stayed for free. The rooms is spacious. Beds are comfortable. It could have been a five star if there was toilet paper, bigger bathroom, if my room was not in front of the elevator, and a noise free room. The noise travels and it was very noisy.

Beautiful design, friendly staff. Had a nice late dinner at the bar area. The room was nicely decorated and laid out. The only complaints would be the very tight bathroom and lack of ventilation fan.

What can I say but WOW!!! Great service, beautiful property, great staff, great prices.... This is the place to stay in Richmond. Beautiful, clean and relaxing hotel. The man at the front desk was AWESOME, put a smile on all of our faces. Breakfast was good, beds are comfortable and the rooms are brand new and well maintained. Good job.

We stayed for the last 3 day weekend in July. We had come here for my mom's 83rd B--Day Party. And this was our first time staying at this Hotel but I'm so glad that we did. Because we had the best time after we finally got there. Because we got lost but i called the hotel and spoke to a Juanita and she stayed on the phone with me until we reach the front door. She said that is what she does and i must say she does a damm good job. We also loved the fresh breakfast bar was delicious. And the managers 2 hour happy hour was wonderful. The appetizers were delicious and the people were friendly. And the bartenders were so very nice and knowledgeable of the drinks.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff are very friendly and warm. I will be going back real soon. And the rooms are very modern and charming.

The new remodel of this property is awesome!!! Beautiful changes. Stayed with the family overnight. Rooms are updated nicely and comfy. Have stayed at this hotel for years and will continue.

This place was very neat in its structure. Walked into the center of the hotel and it opened up into a water theme with plants everywhere. Open level balconies with very nice structure. However, the bathrooms in the rooms were very small. Some populated places in the hotel seemed run down. Overall a great experience.

Have stayed there many times over the past ten years ... Wonderful new design and modern rooms. They have a great breakfast ... Wonderful staff too. Well worth the money for a great place to stay in West Richmond. Definitely will be back.

Bobby and Taylor were absolute gems. We loved the stay. Only qualm was the one elevator, but the renovations and the suite itself were fabulous! If we are in the area again, we will for sure stay here.

Really lively. Even on a weekday! Breakfast was very satisfying and delicious. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Would love to go back for another visit

Rooms are amazing. Large "living area" with sectional sofa, desk, flat screen, and wet bar with coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Bedroom had king size bed with another flat screen, desk and night tables. Several HBO channels included. Managers reception with complimentary beer and light appetizer 5:30 to 7:30. Not far off the interstate and easy to find. My stay included complimentary breakfast but not sure it's always included, walking distance to Mission BBQ, waffle house, McDonald's, and sheetz convince store. Not sure about rate because company paid for it. I definitely recommend if someone else is paying. I will consider it next time I stay in Richmond.

Room was clean and excellent service! Happy hour was nice and the drinks were not watered down. Will definitely stay here again.

The atrium was very nice. Spent several hours sitting down there with friends socializing. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast and the social hour in the evening were very good. My only complaint was the bathroom in the room was tiny. There wasn't room to turn around. Obviously that's not a simple fix, but it was surprising given the size of the rest of the room.

Just discovered this hotel and it has become a favorite in the Richmond area. Love how the lobby is arranged with quiet and active spots depending on your social preference. Breakfast features made to order omelets and pancakes plus great juice selection, fresh fruit, pastries and more. Only complaint was the extremely small juice glass but you can refill often and make them work.

The staff was very helpful and made me feel welcomed. The rooms exceeded my expectations and the complementary drinks and breakfast was a plus. I will definitely be visiting again

Embassy Suites Richmond was a very nice place to stay for the night. It was clean and the staff very courteous. Breakfast was included and wasn't a continental one. It was a hot/cold buffet style with an omelet bar.

Rooms were recently renovated. There rooms are kind of spacious. The bathrooms are very cramped. However because it's an Embassy Suites the breakfast Anna evening reception are great and one of the main reasons I try to stay at the Embassy Suites brand.

Staff is so friendly and helpful! Newly renovated rooms are very nice. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. Free parking in a normal parking lot. I would definitely go back again.

Rather middle of the road. No complaints or praises except that the bar was shut down at 945pm. Don't expect much sleep if you are unfortunate enough to have neighbors. Renovations equal construction noise, plan accordingly and bring your own 'supplies'. Sheetz has better wine (selection) for cheaper.

My wife and I decided to take a weekend trip from Hampton to Richmond on our 10th Anniversary. We had a wonderful stay! We stayed in the presidential suite which was very nice, clean, and modern ( thanks Ms. Lyons). There was even a card and box of chocolates waiting for us in our room. The staff was really wonderful and personable. We received a great welcome from Mr. Bobby and enjoyed an pleasant evening dinner with Mr. Jerrell. We appreciate all that was done to ensure our stay was a good one.

I am very impressed with this location! I had a newly renovated room and upon my arrival the welcoming I received was exceptional. I was greeted by Bobby - he goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. The general manager, Kathleen Lyons, was a pleasure as well. I highly recommend this Embassy Suites! You’ll be happy with the upscale-modern aura. The property was being renovated so the lobby isn’t anything to brag about, but the experience was fantastic!

Stayed here for VUU Homecoming. They were wonderful. Staff was friendly and conscientious. Some renovations were taking place but our room was good. Loved the fact that there was a television in the sitting room as well as the bedroom. The room was very neat and clean. Will definitely stay again.

Remodeling is underway..so entrance was less than expected but room was clean and updated. Wood floors etc....great bed and sleep.. surprisingly excellent salads at the bar last night.. and good brunch. Nice open area with fountain.. and pool - gym area are inviting.

Love me an Embassy Suites! Lobby is under construction but the area is well-signed to dictate where check-in is. Our room had an issue, and the hotel staff was able to move us without incident. Evening reception was busy (as per usual) but they handled the crowd well. Bobby and Julia at the front desk went above and beyond. Remembered our names, checked back in on the room, and wished us a happy anniversary with a special treat and more! Easy access to the highway and the room was clean. Breakfast was great too.

It's quiet and peaceful. Currently under construction but I won't blame them on that. My main problem was the breakfast. Coffee tasted extremely old and under-flavored. However the rooms were comfortable and peaceful to stay in. I'd recommend to anyone in Richmond.

This is a truly magnificent hotel. The gorgeous central atrium alone is well worth a visit. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The staff are polite, prompt, and courteous. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our weekend here. Embassy Suites helped give us some wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime.

Currently undergoing renovations during my stay so the restaurant was not open, but having stayed at other Embassy Suites everything is always above and beyond. Complimentary breakfast every morning with buffet plus made-to-order food, happy hour with complimentary snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, 24-hour fitness center. We stayed in newly renovated rooms, the bathroom was a little on the small side, you had to close the bathroom door to get into the glass wall-in shower. The bedroom had a large sliding glass door with a small balcony, enough to stand on. The separate living room had a pull out bed, desk, and small kitchenette area. My only "complaint" would be that the living room did not have good lighting, there were a couple table lamps and an overhead light that was in the corner, even with all the lights on it was still dark in the room.

We could not have been happier with our stay. We were in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beautiful and comfortable. However, the best part was the staff. Every single person was extremely nice and polite. We did not encounter even one person that was even 'average'. We were very impressed with the level of customer service and the pleasant atmosphere.

Excellent experience! Although the hotel is under construction, it is still one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The bed was just the right firmness and the pillows provided the support I needed. Amazing quality for the price if you have a small family. This hotel also serves an excellent breakfast, including pancakes off of the grill!

Standard experience for the brand. Spacious rooms (yet cozy bathrooms). Balcony was a nice plus, ample parking, friendly staff. Atrium renovations are almost complete, so thats a plus. I will continue to stay here on leisure.

My mom was visiting it from out of town, it's a very nice hotel in a quiet area, although they are doing construction in the middle area is the hotel to make it more modern looking, you must walk around the building to get to the breakfast conference rooms! But the voice of breakfast food out weighs the walking! The only thing I don't understand is the pool hours states 10pm closing but the gym is in the pool area and it's open 24 hours! Did have working hot tub and sauna! The hotel staff are very nice and friendly would definitely recommend this hotel!

Decent location, great room if traveling with kids. Front room with pullout sofa, sink, tv, microwave and refrigerator are perfect. Wasn't crazy about bathroom as it was rather small and hard to close door without manuvering. Hotel was under construction and could use updating. Elevator made me nervous. Staff was very friendly!!

The service here was awesome! The atrium at this location is being remodeled so the reception and breakfast were held in conference rooms. The staff went above and beyond to compensate for any incoveniences due to the remodeling. The pool room was nice and clean. We will visit again.

This hotel is under construction. 9 floors total with atrium. 3 night stay listening to hammering, drilling, equipment moving /beeping. Was offered to move rooms, but doesn't matter as the layout of rooms are silo with atrium in middle. Bloody nightmare! I should have been notified this was happening. In healthcare 3rd shift, this affects my work.

In a state of renovation / total disrepair, which I was not warned about when booking. Lots of construction noise during the day. But I loved the staff - very nice folks.

Completely under renovation! Looks like it belongs in Syria when you go inside. That being said it was $149 for a king size bed the room was clean and the staff was friendly. There are several places to eat close by and they still offered room service. The shower curtain leaked bad and our room had not been renovated yet. Construction began at 8am so no sleeping in. Someone was chiseling the floor of the room above us. I would go to one of the other hotels in the area. Also the bathroom was one of the smallest I've ever seen. Only room for one person to stand. Bathroom door warped from the shower leaking .

This hotel was awesome!!! Me and my boyfriend stayed for only a night but customer service and everything was perfect! We got the jacuzzi room, very romantic for couples. Our stay at the hotel was excellent. Can't wait to see the finish look after the construction in the lobby when it is finished. We will be booking this room again!

We are coming back for the third time to this hotel for our family reunion. We have truly enjoyed every stay. Bobby (at the reception desk) makes our stay most enjoyable. Thanks Bobby. See you in June

Has a large enough lot to park a large vehicle. The people who work there are wonderful.

Held a conference at this hotel location. An ok experience was provided. Management was unclear and inflexible about the arrangements they gave us, but it ended up all working out.

Staying at this hotel is always a pleasant experience for me. The foyer is beautifully landscaped with live plants, the layout of the rooms helps to buffer every room from hall noise(you enter through the living room and the bedroom is at the back of the suite), the rooms have always been clean and spacious, but best of all has been the helpfulness of the staff, including the employees who serve at the breakfast. I really have enjoyed the made to order omelettes and the chef, Rob, gives everyone the same cheerful individual attention no matter how many omelettes he's made that morning. Finally, the hotel is convenient to any locations in the Richmond area.

Very nice, it's like a mini Gaylord hotel. Complimentary breakfast was a really good bonus. We picked the honeymoon suite which was fine for the room, but the view left much to be desired. Don't open the windows as you're about 10 feet off the ground facing a parking lot.

The view when you first walk in is spectacular. They have a wonderful waterfall display which really sets relaxing mood.

Breakfast is great and the service is excellent. The room attendant took extra time to arrange my daughter's stuffed animals when she cleaned the room. My daughter loved it.

The sky lights may be beautiful but the hotel is a sauna. I'm here for work and if I could walk out of would. I haven't slept in 2 nights because my room is 80 degrees!!

One of the best hotel stays ever! My family and I travel a lot, and the customer service of the staff is reason enough for us to come back to this specific Hotel! Everything was excellent including the food, the bedroom cleanliness, the bar, breakfast etc.
